TRAVEL TIPS

TRANSPORT –

There are three [03] major International airports – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport [JKIA] in Nairobi, Moi International Airport [MIA] in Mombasa & Eldoret International Airport [EIA] in Eldoret. Wilson airport handles light aircrafts – on scheduled or chartered domestic flights. Most of the National Parks have an airstrip.

SPORTS –

Kenya is the home to a large number of world-class distance runners who consistently perform well in the International competitions. GOLF – popular in Nairobi area, with six 18-hole courses – KAREN COUNTRY CLUB, MUTHAIGA GOLF CLUB, WINDSOR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, ROYAL NAIROBI CLUB; while other courses are available in all other regions.

CREDIT CARDS –

Major credit cards are acceptable in Kenya and the teller machines. Currency can be exchanged in bureaus or banks and varies from time to time.
